Landscape Window Tower of a Rhododendron Queen (Westerstede)

The view over the rhododendrons from the tower is very impressive. The landscape window lies dreamily in a wooded area on Kirchweg.

This landscape window shows the rhododendron.On the historic Gießelhorst Kirchweg, the visitor finds the observation tower in a typical commercial forest with many older rhododendrons that have grown up to 10 meters high. A special feature is the mirror construction of the roof, with which the beauty of the rhododendron splendor is directed into the tower and beyond the horizon
can be experienced.

The forest just before Westerstede is full of huge rhododendrons. Unfortunately, during our visit it was not the heyday. Nevertheless, the sight is very beautiful.
We stayed here again in early June and our expectations were totally exceeded. The flowering rhododendrons are huge.
