Here is the last parking lot at the end of the street under the Traunstein. On the shore of the lake is a lawn that is also used as a landing area for the rescue helicopter. Unfortunately, the Gmunden mountain rescue service has to use this place too often.
From here it is only possible to walk along the Miesweg along the lake or into the Lainautal back to the Maieralm or on the Traunstein.
