Agios Matheos Village

Pretty mountain village with a few coffee houses and narrow streets.

Very nice mountain village, which still looks very original. Here the Korfioten sit on the street, drink coffee and play (among other things) backgammon. You talk and have time. Motorists drive very slowly, hardly two cars pass each other, people walk in the middle of the street.
It gets exciting when the bus drives through the town.
Not only the main street, where there are two supermarkets, a bakery and some restaurants is interesting, even the narrow streets above you should not miss, they are just worth seeing and probably the most original in town. Because even if Agios Mathéos still looks very authentic, it is set to tourists. One speaks English almost everywhere.

It's better to park the car down on the main road, it's very narrow up in the village.
