Owner Kostas knows the area like no other and is THE place to go for locals and hikers. You can also have breakfast, lunch and dinner there - tried everything, everything was very tasty (also for vegetarians).
And: He offers a very nice apartment for overnight stays and also arranges others in the village that cannot be found on any other platform!
So as a tip for hikers on the Corfu Trail: You don't need to walk down to Benitses. Ask Kostas! One call is enough (tested it myself and found a wonderful little house to stay overnight because his apartment was occupied).
