At the highest point of the park stands the Monopteros. In its center is a marble bench with four lions' cheeks and a 2.5 m high marble column. On the mosaic floor there is a Latin inscription that translates: Ludwig and his wife Julia, Barons von Schacky and Schönfeld, built this temple in the year of the Lord 1905.
