With its almost five hectares, Park De Vijvers forms the largest green lung in Ledeberg. The park is a former castle estate. Although Park De Vijvers is quite large, it was not used much. Therefore, the park was given a makeover as part of the urban renewal project Ledeberg leeft.

... and - in addition to what @Katrien writes - : anyone walking through the park on a sunny day can only confirm: "Ledeberg Leeft!".
Families with playing children, elderly people from the neighbourhood (and from the adjacent care home), picnicking youngsters, ... the park is cheerfully populated.

Hiking
Formerly a castle domain, now a park for young and old. With almost five hectares, it is the largest green lung in Ledeberg. Woods and lawns alternate and, via boardwalks by the ponds, you can observe aquatic life up close. There are playgrounds for big and small children, a petanque court and many benches.
