Nice castle on the Mittelland Canal. Privately owned. A beautiful avenue leads to the castle from the direction of the large peat bog.

The estate stands on the walls of an old moated castle and was first mentioned in 1278. Is now privately owned and unfortunately the small café in the "Kleiner Stall" no longer exists.

The estate stands on the walls of an old moated castle and was first mentioned in documents in 1278. Between 1543 and 1817, five noble families are recorded as owners. Through the marriage of Sophia Charlotte Klenke von Renckhausen to Benjamin von Mentzingen (1648–1723), court master and privy councilor in Stuttgart, it also temporarily came into the possession of the Baden lords of Mentzingen. In 1817, the estate was acquired by the Stille family from Lübbecke, who sold it around 1960. The current owner is the Warneke family.

The current building structure was built in the 18th century. Originally built in half-timbered style, the estate was converted into a villa-like manor house in the neo-Renaissance style in 1896.
