Actually, you are here in the "Réserve naturelle de Dourbes". A beautiful nature reserve located in the valley of the Eau Blanche and the Eau Noire. The area is known for its rich biodiversity and unique geology. It is managed by the municipality of Viroinval and the organization Ardenne en Gaume. The reserve includes two major limestone sites: the Montagne-aux-Buis and the Roche à Lomme. These sites offer a unique landscape with rocks, crevices and caves.
The Montagne-aux-Buis is known for its dense forests of Buis (Buxus sempervirens) and a rich variety of wild flowers such as anemones, orchids and vernals.
