This section runs on the back of the Tuniberg with the best views of the Vosges in the west and the Black Forest in the east and the Kaiserstuhl, which is just a few pedal cycles away. Although it is closed to general vehicle traffic and therefore has little traffic, keep your eyes open as you share the path with winegrowers on the way to and from their vines. Perfectly asphalted and fully suitable for racing bikes, like most of the vineyard paths in Tuniberg.

The Tuniberg Höhenweg follows the mountain range from north to south - the entire Tuniberg is crisscrossed by a dense network of well-paved vineyards and in principle you can cycle all day through and through this gentle hilly landscape - including some robust climbs, which are probably will force most off the saddle.
