Bords de Charente

The edges of the Charente, easily accessible by bike, call for poetry. Soft banks, calm water, beautiful villages, sumptuous residences with luminous stones. Picnic areas, fishing, safe walks. The edges of the Charente are a must for bike trips in the southwest.

The landscapes are magnificent because for the most part far from everything and in the middle of nature .... the houses scattered here and there and some swimming places recall the presence of man but soon the groves succeed places of leisure , the banks of the Charente with grassland, the song of the birds, the rustling of the wind in the foliage and the murmur of the lapping of the water on the banks quickly regain the upper hand as if to immortalize the imprint of serenity and absolute calm.
