The three-country stone marks the coinciding borders of the states of Hessen, Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg. It is a 1.2 m high landmark and marks since 1837 the border point. The letters on the stone stand for the Grand Duchy of Hesse (GH), Grand Duchy of Baden (GB) and Kingdom of Bavaria (KB).
