There used to be a wooden bridge in this place.
In 1927, a completely new, impressive steel structure was built, built by the Krakow-based company "Zieleniewski", and a loading installation for barges that headed to the Vistula, and then - further into the country.
He was blown up in September 1939 by the retreating Polish Army from the "Śląsk" operational group.
