From here you not only have a beautiful view over Hofsgrund in the direction of Feldberg, the small connecting road also leads directly and quite steeply up to the Schauinsland road L124. Recommended as a little change from the normal K4996 country road through Hofsgrund, but because of the rather rustic surface (10/2021) it is more uphill than downhill.
