Mountain biking
The village church of Kriechau, built in 1883, looks like a building from the Wilhelminian era. The church was built in the neo-Gothic style. However, it is not the first church in the village, it was said that the first church in the village was the branch church of Burgwerben. This was used by the Swedes as a stable in 1641 and was then ruined. The church is also known as the cycle path church.

Today's evangelical village church was built on the site of the previous building in the 19th century in a neo-Gothic, historicizing style. Due to its location near the Saale cycle path, it has gained additional importance as a cycle path church as a place of rest (but, as far as I know, is currently not open regularly).
