The body of water at Krieschow is a small pond in the middle of a forest area between Cottbus and the Spreewald. It is a very weedy body of water where fishing is quite difficult. One FHP user reported that mainly carp and pike can be caught.
The water is managed by the Cottbus Land district angler's association, which manages it under the number C 03-124. Full payers of the annual membership membership DAV Berlin, LAV Brandenburg fish here accordingly free of charge.
There are tables and benches and a small parking lot for resting. A small circular path leads around the pond, which is only accessible on foot. In winter the pond is often used for ice skating.
