Hitzacker–Bitter Ferry

Nice little ferry that transports people, dogs and bikes.
One person costs €2 for a single journey. That's reasonable - you can't complain about that.

This ferry takes you from Hitzacker across the Elbe to Bitter and back again. Bicycles can also be transported. The Hitzacker-Bitter ferry currently runs Monday to Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The ferry service is also possible outside of the times mentioned by arrangement.One-way trip per person: € 2.50
Children aged 4 to 12: € 1.50
Bicycles, mopeds, mopeds, motorcycles up to and including 50 cc: € 2.00

From the narrow strip of land in front of the port in Hitzacker, a ferry leaves for the other bank of the Elbe near Bitter. You can get over there on foot, by bike or moped!
