Shield: This fountain attachment with the goose fluff motif reminds of the time when the associated fountain served the people of Seppenrade as a village fountain.
The most productive water point used to be on Dattelner Straße and was used by the Nibbenhagen farm as a house well.
In the course of the village beautification in 1937, this courtyard had to give way to the widening of the street.
The house fountain was now available to the entire village as a public fountain and was given this essay with the goose fluffy motif.
After Seppenrade was connected to the general drinking water network in 1955/1956, the fountain was abandoned and its decorative attachment was moved here in 1967.
