The "Old Ride" is a wonderful natural space to experience. Along the Old Ride - a decommissioned Abschintt of the Dortmund-Ems-Kanal, more: de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alte_Fahrt_(Dortmund-Ems-Kanal) - offers all sorts of interesting things for the eyes. Information boards describe the local flora and fauna.My hiking highlight is definitely the crossing of the Alte Fahrt over the Lippe. The former canal is led here with a bridge building (built 1895) in 18 meters height over the lip.

a beautiful architectural bridge, the peculiarity here is that the Lippe flows below the Alte Fahrt canal bridge.

Wasserkreuz: Old trip near Sülsen crosses the lip. Nice lap along the water, be it on foot or by bike. Only partially suitable for racing bikes
