Hiking

The detour to the Buchenegger waterfalls is worthwhile. The paths are partly muddy and therefore slippery after rain. Sturdy shoes and hiking sticks are important. If there is a lot going on, then the faster ones now and then past the wider areas and don't let yourself be rushed so that you stay safe and sound. 👍😀

Hiking

The excursion is ideal for families. On the forest adventure trail, the kids can learn interesting facts about nature. Display boards invite you to do so. Otherwise, the way to the waterfalls is quite an adventure. At the beginning the path is still paved from the Am Hößl car park, from the forest adventure path it goes on gravel forest and alpine paths following the signpost in the direction of the waterfalls. In the area of the waterfalls partly stepped mountain paths. Might get slippery.
The view makes up for the exertion. My kids definitely had fun.
