Hiking
Striking peaks and rocky ridges characterize the mountain range that stretches from the Mittagberg near Immenstadt across the Hochgrat to the Bregenz Forest. The rocks, which have been "baked" into conglomerate from scree, look as if nails had been driven deep into them, leaving only the heads visible, which is why they are also called "Nagelfluh."
