From Blaichach on the Gunzesrieder Säg to Mautstion.Maut costs 4 € at the machine. Here you choose the tour Scheidwanger Alpe. Drive up to Alpe Scheidwang. Follow the signs to the Hochgrat. Attention, we have missed the turn off the road to the trail. Here follow the sign 3 in the streambed. Only to Hochgrathaus Wandert is possible, it leads the way below the Hochgrathaus. Then the tour is also possible for less experienced. The way back from the summit can be done via another flatter route from the Hochgrathaus. ,

In summer, a great way from the mountain station to the summit, in winter but pay attention to the accessibility. Especially with snow and Eisglätte with children not necessarily to be recommended. Meter-high snow lets the safety ropes tw. disappear.

A fantastic view. From the summit station of the Hochgratbahn the summit is quite easy to reach. If you are diligent, you can go up from the bottom. In winter, you should have good snowshoes or touring skis with climbing aids. Above, there are good opportunities for a nice snack.
