A small trail runs parallel to the country road through the trees and hedges. He can do a lot of speed. But be careful, this is a hiking trail.

On the Steinhübel in the 19th century a pillar of the Royal Saxon triangulation was erected. This made it part of the most precise surveying network in Europe at the time - an engineering masterpiece. Some other of these elevations can be seen from here, e.g. the Keulenberg, Lilienstein, Zschirnstein, Kahleberg etc.
