The rectangular building has a fairly flat gabled roof and is crowned by a distinctive ridge turret.
Inside the chapel, the neo-Gothic altar structure is striking, with figurative representations of the Holy Family and the two patron saints of the Diocese of Bamberg, the Holy Empress Kunigunde and Holy Emperor Heinrich.
The entrance has a round arch and is marked with the characters "IHS 1903 IB".
