The path's meandering nature is, of course, related to the winding Demer River, or "the meanders," as the saying goes.
Don't expect a long, elevated forest walkway, but it is enjoyable and a pleasant place to relax when it's not too crowded, which can be the case on sunny days here near the confluence with the Dyle River and the center of Werchter.
