The 33-meter-high Lachnersturm is the highest observation tower in Hohenlohe. After climbing 100 steps, some of which are medieval, visitors have a wonderful view over the Hohenlohe Plain to the Franconian Heights and the Odenwald. The tower, named after a family of watchmen around 1750, dates back to the 12th century and was formerly inhabited by the high watchman who guarded the entrance to the city.

Lachnersturm (33 m high keep), which serves as an observation tower with its tower keeper's room. Open daily.
It is worth making the effort to climb the more than 100 steps up to the Lachnersturm. A panoramic view of Hohenlohe that is not possible anywhere else. And on a clear day you might even be able to see the Stuttgart TV tower.
