Hiking
The Plätzwiese alpine hut is located a little off the main axes of the Plätzwiese and offers a great view of the Hohe Gaisl and the plateau of the Plätzwiese.
This is the best starting point for an ascent of the Dürrenstein or the first and best opportunity to strengthen yourself after an ascent.
An overnight stay is not possible here.
