The cross with summit book was built from two old railway sleepers from the disused Roßwein-Hainichen line and became the "highlight" of the Roßweiner summit tour.

The Wetterhöhe station is part of the Royal Saxon Triangulation of 1869 and was built north of the Wettersdorfer windmill. The windmill no longer exists.
