Hidden in a side valley of the Wendebach is an impressive ensemble of rock faces, individual rocks, abrises and beautiful rock details. Stone Age hunters used the abrises, rock roofs, in the Reinhausen Forest as a shelter. It is assumed that about half of the recorded 1600 demolitions in and around the Reinhausen Forest represent archaeological sites. So the visitor is stepping on ground steeped in history.
The access is hidden under spruce trees on the slope of a largely overgrown byway. From there a narrow path winds up the slope.
