Well-developed country road through the forest up to the Bocksberg.

Especially recommended in summer, as it is always a little cooler up here and the forest offers a lot of shade.

Once at the top, there are two beautiful, fast descents towards Westheim/Oberschwappach or Hundelshausen.

A tarred path, closed to cars, leads to the Zabelstein observation tower. However, the last few meters are gravel.

At least during the week there is little traffic here in the evenings. The road is perfectly constructed and runs straight in places. That doesn't make it any less strenuous, especially as there are a few climbs towards Zabelstein. There you will be rewarded with a nice descent towards Hundelshausen / Michelau, if you want.
