The town museum Kellinghusen is dedicated to the important ceramic tradition of the place. The focus of the collections is on the well-known Kellinghusener faiences, which were produced in the 18th and 19th centuries. There are six workshops in Kellinghusen between 1765 and 1860. Kellinghusen's faience became famous in particular for its plates, the floral border of which is underlaid with a bright yellow and the center of which has a colorful bouquet of flowers.
