A hike along the Zaalwaal can easily be done in an hour. If you want, you can then tackle the 4 kilometer long Ilswaal afterwards. A walk along the Ils and Zaalwaal is particularly suitable for a beautiful summer day, as the trees offer cooling shade and in between you always have the opportunity to take in wonderful views of the Vinschgau.
