Great road to the coastal canal, on which hardly any cars run, Rolls well and beautifully shaded by trees.
Quotation: "The Friesoyther canal (built in 1880) was the connection to the Elisabethfehn canal before the construction of the coastal canal and today it has lost its importance for shipping.
The section on the B 72 to the B 401 is located in a quiet, beautiful landscape with adjacent avenues and natural water vegetation. The canal has a cultural-historical significance for the hydraulic engineering and the landscape, but also serves the biotope networking for endangered species.
At the section in the direction of Friesoythe, a beautiful oak alley lines the canal. "

The Elisabethfehn Canal is easier to cross at this bridge than at the pedestrian bridge 😅
