The Feldsteinkirche in Meuchefitz is one of the oldest churches in Wendland and dates back to the pre-Reformation period
One of the peculiarities of this church is the baptismal font. After being housed in the official tower in Lüchow for decades, it was restored in the 1990s and has since been used again in the Meuchefitz church.
The relief depicting the death of Mary, which originally belonged to the coastal church, has been given a new lease of life in the Meuchefitz church after a thorough restoration in 2010.
