Several boundary stones with the coat of arms of the Electoral Palatinate, which Hiltersklingen an der Hart has owned since 1461. In 1623 and 1650 Hiltersklingen fell to Kurmainz. To document this legal act, the boundary stones were not replaced by new ones, but the existing ones were provided with the word "ABGELÖST", the year 1650 and the Mainz wheel. (cf. monument topography BRD. Kulturdenkmäler in Hessen. Odenwald kreis.1998) However, they were only set in 1656 to commemorate the 1650 release of the mountain road pledged from Kurmainz to the Kurpfalz and Lindenfels about 170 "detached stones".
