Perlaser Turm

The pearl laser tower was originally made of wood. A severe storm in 1897 razed it to the ground. In 1907 it was rebuilt - this time from sturdy stone. To this day it stands on the 493 meter high Wilhelmshöhe and gives you a beautiful view of the green.

The tower was originally supposed to be 20 meters high, but it was stopped at 17 meters because the surrounding forest was not very high at the time and there was therefore no reason to pull the tower any higher.
Treuener Wanderfreunde had already built a wooden tower in 1871. In the spring of 1897 a violent storm swept over the Vogtland and destroyed the scaffolding

Recently there is a really nice children's playground with lots of climbing opportunities!
