The parish church is already mentioned in 1237. The uniform nave with three quarters was built in 1737 on a Romanesque foundation; Renovations in 1950 were no longer able to save the old mosaic floor, which had Saracen motifs. Inside the church are the tombstones of Charles of Weferlingen (1594), Ulrichs of Weferlingen (1611) and his wife Katharina von Blankenburg. Above the arched entrance is the relief of a bearded man holding a stone over his head with both hands. It is probably of pagan origin.
