Kremenjak (235m) high hill, which stands on the border between Italy and Slovenia, which is visible as there is a watchtower at the top. Several paths lead to it, from hiking to macadam. From the top there is a very nice view on all sides. Below us is the Molfancone and the entire Gulf of Trieste and the Italian plain. When the weather is nice, it is nice to see the Cape Savudrjis all the way to the Dolomites and the Julian Alps and the Slovenian and Italian Karst. The entire area is also littered with ditches and remnants in the form of bomb particles and as remnants of World War I, as fierce fighting took place in the area during the offensives.

Kremenjack, altitude 235. Border between Italy and Slovenia. Splendid panorama over the Gulf of Monfalcone up to the lagoon of Grado. The damage of the immense fire that in 2022 destroyed a large part of the Carso between Monfalcone and Trieste is still clearly visible. The ruins of the garrites tell us that this was more than a simple state border but, until the advent of the United Europe, it also represented an ideological curtain.
