The Aegidius Church (1859–1864) stands in an elevated position on the church square, with the striking neo-Gothic tower that rises 66 meters above the stone terrace. In the center is the obelisk, a memorial to those who fell in the Franco-Prussian War of 1870/187. And the fountain in front of it is very beautiful. This was inaugurated in 1905 and restored in 1994. Named after Anna Lenck, the wife of the founder of the fountain, the Lengenfeld factory owner Moritz Lenck.
