The Wormhole (Poll na bPéist) is a rectangular natural water basin with an edge length of approx. 10 × 25 m². It is connected to the Atlantic by an underground canal. It was created by the erosion of deeper layers of limestone along straight breaking edges.

In 2014, a cliff diving competition was held here as part of the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series, which made it famous around the world.

Leave the bike at the wall passage on the street and set off on foot. Because of the bedrock there is no path as such; but the terrain is easily passable.
