About twelve kilometers from the town of Buendía and on the banks of the Guadiela River we find the Hermitage of Nuestra Señora de los Desamparados.
This place is also known as "El Sitio", since it was the place where the Virgin appeared in the 16th century. The surroundings of the hermitage are perfectly equipped with picnic areas, a drinking water fountain, numerous benches, even bathrooms, so that you can enjoy the spectacular scenery for as long as you want.
