A gravel section of the classic Strade Bianche road bike. The access to the south-west driveway of San Martino in Grania begins in Monteroni d’Arabia. There the official route of the Strade Bianche turns east from the SR2. The climb starts 3.8 kilometers after leaving the SR2 in Monteroni d’Arabia. After the first steep, 700 meter long upswing, you drive through San Martino in Grania, which actually consists of only a handful of houses. Then you reach a kind of ridge that offers a wonderful view of the Tuscan landscape. The apex of the climb is a farm that can be seen from afar. Four serpentines wind their way up there.

The longest gravel strip of the Strade Bianche Gran Fondo. There is a nice climb in it.
