Sector 7 from the famous Strade Bianche race, officially run from Monteroni d'Arbia in the southwest where the end is especially steep uphill, but great for cycling in both directions. Just a little nicer on the gravel bike than on the racing bike.

"Strade Bianche" (meaning white gravel streets) are paths which you can ride with any kind of bike (even with solid road tires). Every year this is the location of the famous vintage-only event "Eroica" or NovaEroica. The concept is to recreate cycling's so-called "heroic era", when most bike races were ridden on dirt or unpaved roads.

This is an area of Tuscany immediately to the south of Siena which is unique in its kind. Ride across a rural landscape called "Crete Senesi" (meaning Clays of Siena) the distinctive grey colouration of the soil gives the landscape an appearance often described as lunar.

One of the most rough gravel paths in the area, counting 10 Km of gravel path. The site dives close to the Arbia torrent, a tributary of the Ombrone River.
