From the Plan du Lion, the last flat area before the descent, you have a double reward: a view of the Berceau where you were previously, and a view of the immensity of the sea, and Menton. You can even clearly distinguish Cape Martin and the Rock of Monaco. It's nice !

This is the last stretch of the GR52 (Sospel-Menton), I would rate this as a difficult hike because of the descents from col de Berceau to plan de Lion and plan de Lion to Menton: quite steep, lots of loose gravel and therefore quite slippery
