That was an escape from the temperatures from the plain to the "height". At least one degree less for every 100HM. So instead of 34 it was 28 degrees and a little windier.
Amazingly few people on the move, were they all shopping in air-conditioned rooms 😀?

We just wanted to go to a beer garden. Unfortunately, thanks to the easing, these are no longer lacking in popularity. We should have made a reservation 😩.
So we went to the next restaurant and were successful.
Despite the late time, still 31 degrees in the evening and no swimming trunks for the Bornbruchsee.

The goal of the tour for six was the palace terrace in Frankfurt - Höchst. On a new route this time via Neu - Isenburg through the forest to Frankfurt Höchst. Have a nice coffee there, eat cake and relax. The castle terrace is completely open and there is plenty of seating outside. From there then via Kelsterbach to Mönchbruch past the rough meadows, across the forest to Walldorf. There at the station some more liquid and then the remaining nine kilometers back to Langen.

Today was my first time on a mountain bike, so it was a rather leisurely pace. So that we don't always drive the same route, this time deviated a little north towards Steigerts. With a little dangling on the way back over the Melibokus then back to our parking lot.
It felt like it was more HM (said the calves😀), it was surprisingly little going on.
The "valley view" in Steigerts is a nice stopover on the tour.

You drive the same way there and back, but you have wonderful views from the other direction. In front of the tunnel, also in both directions, I strongly recommend putting on an additional jacket as it is very cold in the tunnel. Coming from Lehnertz, after a few meters behind the tunnel there is a snack option, which is also highly recommended.

Hooray, outdoor catering in Bavaria has reopened. A reason to enjoy the famous half chicken in the Schluchthof again. That's why we walked the circular route through the Rückersbach Gorge from Hörstein, one of our favorite routes. Pretty warm today up to 28 ° C. The beer garden was jam-packed, but we still got a seat. We were able to disappear again in good time before the thunderstorm.

After being allowed to drink again in a beer garden in the Offenbach district with a negative quick test, we spontaneously rode our bikes from Langen to Umstadt (planned by Wombater). Nice tour through the forest, airy but also nice and sunny (first sunburn of the year) and a nice beer garden. However, he lived up to the ignorance. No admission control, no test control, no mask control, the main thing is beer.

Today we went to Boltenhagen again, but this time only as a starting point for a hike.
We took over the tour in parts from another tour, which, however, runs on the steep bank. From the eastern entrance to the village we walked along the steep coast (we don't know whether this is completely legal either), it was definitely quite exhausting to walk in the sand and on the small stones. The way back was partly by road or paths and through the town of Redewisch, through the town of Boltenhagen on the coast back to the starting point, the parking lot. Unfortunately, no matter where you park, you have to include parking fees. From 4 hours it costs six euros.

The weather today was just too good, so up on the ferry and over to Priwall and then on the bike path. Unfortunately, the way there was difficult with a headwind, so the way back was 20 minutes faster.
Unfortunately, I had split the route in two, so Garmin has included our time on the beach 🏖 in the travel time 😂😂 in the total route. We needed all inclusive 3.20h, but we were at the beach for almost 4h 😀🏖.
It is still a nice route, well developed and therefore unfortunately too busy 🚲.

There is already a similar tour. We only went differently in a few details. Our start was the train station in Haffkrug, if only because it is not only strategically located, but is also free of charge in terms of parking. From there it goes through light beech forests to Pönitz to the Kleiner Pönitzsee. It's really idyllic. From there on to the large Pönitzsee along the promenade. Then over a dangling to Scharbeutz on the coast and there the entire promenade from Scharbeutz back to Haffkrug. Today was Pentecost Sunday, all hell broke loose. I don't want to know what's going on here in summer. We really liked the tour so far because, on the one hand, you have the vastness over the sea and, on the other hand, the peace and quiet and the calming green of the forest.
