At this point there is a rather large boundary stone. It marks the territorial border between the former County of Oettingen and the Principality of Thurn und Taxis. If you follow the path ("Grenzweg") to the south, you come across the "Dreistein" - the border triangle of the County of Oettingen, the Principality of Thurn and Taxis and the Duchy of Palatinate-Neuburg.
