Hiking
Popular destination in the lovely Kartäusertal. Only the small church remains of the former Carthusian monastery, called the Christgarten. There is also a game reserve in the immediate vicinity, which you have to cross on the Albsteig hiking trail.

The ruins of the former Carthusian monastery (1383) on the southern edge of a hamlet near Christgarten give the impression of seclusion and tranquility against the backdrop of the densely wooded Carthusian valley. The church choir including the original choir stalls with clover leaf tracery (around 1400) and the walls of the former chapter room of the monastery are preserved.
