The Hubertus Chapel was built in 1911 and renewed in 1979 by the Tiefgrabener Hunters' Association. The altarpiece shows a copy of the Cranach Madonna. In this chapel, the Tiefgrabener hunters keep the memory of the dead comrades alive. In May, all hunters meet here for a May service. The Hubertus Mass, organized by the Tiefgraben band, is usually celebrated here in autumn.Source: Discovery tours in Mondseeland. Hike to places of faith (Part 2) by Anne-Lu-Ilse Wenter.
