Mondsee Lakeside Promenade

The market town of Mondsee with 4,080 inhabitants is located in the Upper Austrian Salzkammergut on the lake of the same name, whose southern shore partly forms the border with the state of Salzburg. The community has been in the judicial district of Vöcklabruck since the judicial district of Mondsee was dissolved on July 1, 2013.

The Mondsee, located in the Upper Austrian Salzkammergut southwest of the Attersee, belongs with its entire area to the municipality of the same name.
