Grünwinkel Chapel

Very nice little chapel

Since then, every visitor can read that the chapel was built in 1760. It is a foundation of the couple Ferdinand Freiherr von Schrenck and Maria Anna Freifrau von Schrenck (née Countess von Hörwarth zu Steinach), the owners of the castle and Hofmark Eurasburg at the time.It is currently (since 2014) being restored.

The restoration of the exterior facade of the Kreuzkapelle in the Grüner Winkel seems to have been completed: in October 2021 I was able to observe a facade painter, at the beginning of November 2021 the scaffolding was dismantled.
In January 2021, Merkur reported on the planned exposure of a ceiling painting (merkur.de/lokales/wolfratshausen/eurasburg-ort377102/restauratoren-der-gruenwinkelkapelle-enthaben-ein-vergessenes-kunstwerk-90182525.amp.html ). I did not research the progress of this work on site.
