This beautiful little place is on the edge of the Aukrug nature park. Only about 400 inhabitants live in the village, which was first mentioned in 1412. In the middle of the village, you will definitely notice the mighty, 250-year-old oak. The largest economic factor is agriculture with predominantly dairy farms. Maybe the farm shop is open when you come by. There you can stock up on fresh produce from the farmers.
